Slipped disc意思
"Slipped disc" is a common term used to describe a condition known as a herniated disc or ruptured disc. It occurs when the nucleus pulposus (the jelly-like center of a spinal disc) pushes through a crack in the annulus fibrosus (the tough, outer layer of the disc). This can cause pain, numbness, or weakness in the affected area, as the herniated disc may press on nearby nerves. The term "slipped disc" is somewhat of a misnomer, as the disc does not actually slip out of place, but rather the inner material leaks out.
