Active cell意思

"Active cell" is a term used in spreadsheet software, such as Microsoft Excel, to refer to the cell that is currently selected or has focus. When you open a spreadsheet, the active cell is usually the cell in the top-left corner of the worksheet, but you can move the active cell by clicking on a different cell, using the arrow keys on your keyboard, or by using the "Go To" command.

The active cell is indicated by a variety of visual cues, such as a heavy border around the cell, and it is the cell where any data you enter will be placed. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to work with the active cell, such as pressing Enter to move to the cell below, or Tab to move to the cell to the right.

In addition to the active cell, spreadsheet software also uses the terms "active sheet" and "active workbook" to refer to the currently selected sheet within a workbook and the currently open workbook, respectively.
