兩難意思英文

"兩難"在中文裡指的是面臨兩個困難的選擇，不知道該選哪一個的困境。在英文中，這個概念可以透過幾種方式來表達，最常見的是使用 "dilemma" 這個詞。

dilemma A situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives, especially ones that are equally undesirable.

另外，"quandary" 這個詞也有類似的意思，指的是一個人因為不知道該怎麼做而感到困惑的狀態。

quandary A state of perplexity or doubt, typically one that needs to be resolved.

在某些情況下，"predicament" 這個詞也可以用來形容一個人處於困境中，不知道該怎麼辦。

predicament A difficult, unpleasant, or embarrassing situation.

例如，如果你有一個朋友因為不知道該接受哪一份工作而感到困擾，你就可以這樣描述他的情況：

"He's in a dilemma because both job offers have their pros and cons."

（他面臨著一個兩難的選擇，因為兩個工作機會各有優劣。）
