Wagashi的意思

"Wagashi" is a traditional Japanese confectionery that is often served with tea, particularly green tea. These sweets are characterized by their beautiful presentation and often have a seasonal or symbolic meaning behind their design. Wagashi can be divided into two main categories: "nerigashi" (捏ぎ菓子), which are soft and moldable sweets made from rice flour and sugar, and "higashi" (乾菓子), which are harder and more dry sweets that are often decorated with beautiful designs.

Wagashi has a long history in Japan and has evolved over time to include a wide variety of styles and flavors. Many wagashi are made with natural ingredients such as azuki beans, rice, matcha, and fruits, and are often designed to reflect the changing seasons. For example, during the cherry blossom season in spring, wagashi may be shaped like flowers or designed to evoke the image of cherry blossoms.

In addition to being a delicious treat, wagashi also plays an important role in Japanese culture and traditions. They are often served at special occasions such as weddings, tea ceremonies, and festivals, and are appreciated not only for their taste but also for their aesthetic value.
