Little more than意思
"Little more than" is an English phrase that means "not much more than" or "barely more than." It is used to describe something that is very close to being exactly one thing, with little additional value or significance.
For example:
- "The new employee is little more than a glorified assistant."
- "The committee's decision was little more than a formality."
- "The company's profits were little more than a break-even."
In each of these examples, "little more than" is used to emphasize that there is not a significant difference or improvement from what is being compared to.
