Axial flux意思
"Axial flux" is a term used in electromagnetism and specifically in the context of electric machines such as generators and electric motors. It refers to the direction of the magnetic flux lines relative to the axis of the machine.
In an axial flux machine, the magnetic flux travels predominantly in a direction that is parallel to the axis of the machine. This means that the magnetic field lines run across the width of the rotor and stator, from one end of the machine to the other, along the axis of rotation.
Axial flux machines are typically more compact and can have a higher power density compared to traditional machines with radial flux, where the magnetic flux travels perpendicular to the axis of the machine. Axial flux designs are used in a variety of applications, including wind turbines, electric vehicles, and consumer electronics.
